Does I485 process get delayed

I have applied for EAD after 5 Months of I 485 filing Dec\'01. I have even finished by FP in Feb\'02. Initially I did not apply for EAD because of Valid H1 still Dec\'03. Due to the Job market to be on safe side I applied EAD now...DOES THIS DELAY PROCESS OR NOT>.....
 
No it does not

Your EAD application has different case number. Dont worry it does not affect your i-485 process.
