Does I-94 matter at this stage

Hi,
My I140/485 are pending at CSC. My wife got EAD/AP and she is working using EAD since dec,04.I am still working on H1B. My wife entered US on H4 but now she is using EAD. Our old I-94 is expiring on 5/25/05 but now I got new H1B approval notice with new I-94 expiring in 9/2006. so i am fine because i hv new I-94.
My questions:-
1. Does my wife need new I-94 or she is ok because she is using her EAD. Her old I-94 will expire on 5/25/05

She's OK ... once she started work on EAD, she lost her H4 status - so the old I94 has no meaning now.

She is "in" status because her AOS is pending.
