Please Advise--Does I-140 Approval takes more time in case of labour substitution

Going by what i see in the Forums here, some say it takes more time for I-140 approval in case one is substituting a labour, than a normal case.

I saw this quote from one of the Forum participant.
"When VSC starts processing a I-140 application, and if the case happens to be a labour substitution, it will then ask the corresponding state labour department for an original copy of LCA. This process my take about 6 months"

Is this true?

Iam using an approved labour and these are the details

ND - 10/23/2002.

I dont think so. It is all about luck. One friend of mine got I 140 approved within 2 months for Labor substitution case.

My bad luck ..it is more than 13 months..no sign.....

Everything depends upon luck!

140_when,
Is your case substitution too?? I see in the forums some of the them, whose case is not substitution and ND in june/july, their case is still pending..

I guess you can approach VSC, since it's been more than an year..

its not like different processing times..Every 140 process the same process way .. its purely luck .. and the process how it goes in service center to service center ..
it doesnot mean that substituion is late ..
