Does H1-B become invalid if you use AP to enter U.S?

I have valid H1-B, but since I did not get an appointment at US Consulate, I had to use AP when I entered U.S. Does is cause H1-B to become invalid?

No H1B Stamp on the Passport, You can not enter US with just the approval notice. You have to use the AP. You did a good thing that you used your AP.

Don’t know what your status is after you reentering the US with your AP because the INS said they will clarify it in the future. But, they did say you can keep working for the same employer with your H-1B approval notice plus you can request the H-1B extension in the future. So that should be enough for you.
