I was wondering if you good people could give me some help for a friend of a friend. Since both she and I are going through the naturalization process, our mutual friend had given her my phone number. I promised to check into a problem for her since she works long hours and is busy with the children. So, here is her time line and situation.

CSC DO: Sacramento
Aug. 2007- applied for citizenship
Feb. 2008- had fingerprint appointment
April 2008- interview was scheduled

In late March, she had put in a request to reschedule her interview because of travel plans that were made last year. As of now, she has not received a new interview notice. Is it time for her to make an Infopass appointment, or what should she do?

:)Thank you:)

i am sure she knows now that rescheduling the interview is never recommended because of the delays it causes. she should take the infopass although i doubt she will be provided with new IDate at that time. the infopass could get her case up and running again, hopefully, and bring it to the IOs attention and maybe then she will get a new date. she needs to go to the infopass. the infopass can be scheduled by you, if she's unable to do it herself, but she needs to go to the infopass. the candidate or her legal representatives can inquire about her case. no one else. if she has troubles with English then she can bring a translator with her. but that's about it, i believe.

Thanks, vlorak. I'll pass on the info, and she can then decide how she wants to set up the appointment.
