Does entering on AP mean cannot use AC21 to change jobs after 180 days?

Does entering on Advance Parole instead of H1 vis mean that you cannot use AC21 to change jobs when your I-485 has been pending for more than 180 days?

No -- says who ?

There is no connection between entering on AP, H status and AC21.

Hi max2k1,

Is it safe to travel out of country when I485 pending?
I have given FP with code 3 in April month.What is the status
(outof country)if 485 approves? Can I comeback with AP?
I don't have valid visa on my pp.

That's the whole purpose of an AP -- so that you may travel with a pending 485 and re-enter even if the 485 gets approved.

Don't worry -- you can safely travel on AP - just make sure you re-enter before your AP expires :)
If your 485 gets approved while you are gone, you'll go thru deferred inspection at PoE - no big deal.

HI max2k1 ,
Can you suggest me if I travel to India priar to the approval of I 140 (pending since long time ) do they hold at the time of POE . what about my wife does she can travel outside ( I am the beneficiary)?
