Does EB number have anything to do with I485?

I know EB2 or EB3 will decide the date when you can start file I485. but once your I485 is filed, does the EB number have anything to do with the process time?
for example, if two person have same ND, but one is EB2 and one is EB3, who will get processed first? Or it doesn't matter at all?
Thanks!:)

It shouldn't matter because all the EB catagories are equal now. But the person who is looking your application may have other opinion. He may approve in the order EB1, EB2 and EB3. There is no physical proof though.

Thanks a lot!

not true for TSC

I don't think we can say this for TSC.
In the past discussions, a lot of people here have shown that TSC does sometimes use category (EB) and even PD to select a case to work on.
There is no physical proof for anything at TSC (other than the fact that they are approving 2002 cases faster than 2001!)

IF they like to process 2002 cases instead of 2001, they might like to process EB3 cases instead of EB2...
Just kidding.
