does CSC accept medical exam in different state?

i\'m almost ready to file my I-485 (EB-3) at the CSC. i happen to be on an assignment in chicago these days and it\'s more convenient for me to get my medical exam done by an INS certified civil surgeon here.

i\'ve found conflicting answers on attorney websites and discussion boards about this. can someone answer this question for good? does CSC accept I-693 completed by an INS certified civil surgeon in a state other than california or would they issue an RFE about this?
 
Of Course

The INS is a Federal agency and the Service Centers are aorund the country purely for expediting matters. Although this is not legal opinion, but my personal opinion do remember that in CSC appliants from all over the West and North West apply. They include California and other States. So your concern is not valid.

Some companys who have employees in California are filing in Vermont as that is the arrangement their employers have with the INS. Such employees do their medicals in California although file in VSC.

Do your medicals through an INS certified doctor and you will be just fine.
