Does Contacting the Senators/ Congressmen help

Lot of people have been contacting the Senators/ Congressmen to raise concerns abt their
individual cases. Have people got any responses ??? Does it help. Also if a case is filed at
CSC and the person doesnt live in CA whom should he contact .
Pls post ur experiences.

No use. I did contact and response is negative. They indicate that the corresponding service centers are already in the process of improving their service levels by automation, sub contracting etc. And nothing more can be done.

If you do, best of luck and post your experience

For 140 processing the staff Zoe Lofgren office said, the employer has to contact them as it is Employer's petition.

In case of I-485 they just follow up your case with CSC and the usual reply is the current processing date is so and you will be processed in the order received. But if your RD/ND is before processing date, then it is good to contact Congresspersons.

Thats why its good to contact them with a request to reduce backlogs as a whole and at the same time mention your personal problems and case history.
