Does CIS follow ND or RD?

Anybody knows whether CIS follows notice date or receive date to process 485? Most people's ND and RD are very closed but mine are two months separated, so whether they follow ND or RD is important to me. Thanks.

I don't have the whole thing figured out yet, but here is the primary processing order at CIS:

Tarrot Card Color > Tarrot Card Reading > Sunny on receipt date > Snow flurries on receipt date > Priority Date of your neighbour's LC > Current Job Market situation > Spelling of your last name > Misspelling of your first name > Spelling of your first name > Rainy on receipt date > Middle Initial > Spelling of your residential state.....

----------------------------------------------------------------

Just kidding man.. no body knows how the damn department works :D

So in summary,

CIS follows the RD.......... but many times they also follow ND. :)

s_jojo,

I admire your optimism and faith in this topsy turvy process that makes you look for a pattern. Looks like you are not battle scarred and cynical as some of us who have been hounding this forum for a while.

It does not matter what your RD/ND is or for that matter what the time between them is - you could get approved tomorrow or (if you ask some of the guys waiting here since 01) maybe in a few years.
