Can someone file two 485 applications from different centers (one based on the petioner address and other based on the employer address, these addresses falls under different BCIS center jurisdiction) Any response or experience is appreciated.

no, if you are the primary in both. you might get away with it, but if caught after approval, you're screwed.

this is what i recall reading much earlier. perhaps somebody else would like to weigh in on this?

Thanks

I got a reply from Rajiv Khanna's office that you are allowed to file two 485 applications. So I just wanted to see If anybody did this before.

I read recently that BCIS is trying to come down hard on multiple applications to extend non-immigrant status, if it is done just to prolong the stay (since you can stay till your application is adjudicated, folks are now sending in multiple applications just to keep extending their stay).

So I won't be surprised if BCIS begins to apply that logic to 485 applications too, even if it legal to do so. One never knows these days......even lawyers I hear are perplexed with the current functioning of the immigration system.
