DOes Attorney make a difference

TSC Hopeful

I have done my FP in Dec but there is no movement in my application. Do all of you think that having an Attorney will help the process at all. Does any of you know know of an attorney that actually have contacts at TSC. I really think that applications are randomly processed.

My assumptions:

AT TSC,
since the I-485 processing dates show Nov 2000, the IIO will process Nov 2000 cases and which ever case he/she chooses

not assigned to an officer yet

There definitely would be a few attorneys who would have personal contacts at TSC. But as far as getting your application approved here are a few thoughts to ponder
1) Are you high on your attorney’s list that he/she is willing to request TSC to approve your case?
2) Even if the attorney requests will their contact at TSC request an adjudicator to take your case on?
3) Will the adjudicator take your case which was recommended by a colleague (if it comes from their supervisor then it is a different story) and act on it in a timely manner?
Having pondered all these. You have nothing to lose by trying this and a lot to gain. So why not give it a try.

Thanks for your replies and advice. I will look into consulting an Attorney.

Hope this stress will be over for us soon. Keep going !

I have an attorney, hired by my employer, and they have done nothing to expedite my case.
IMO, they make sure that your application is complete, file it and that's it. End of story.
