Does asylum location really matters

Hello,

I am considering applying for asylum in the United States. I currently live in Austin, Texas. Would it be advisable to apply for asylum in Texas, or should I consider other states, such as California?
I am quite worried because many people have warned me that the Houston court is denying most cases. I have hired an attorney who says that location does not matter as long as the applicant presents a strong case.

I would greatly appreciate your advice.

Will you be filing your case with USCIS or Immigration Court?

Your worry is valid. What do you think Houston office handle applicant from South America(I don’t want to be specific to country, I am not racist).

New York office is also very difficult to get approved by interview only, still considered easier to get approved through immigration court than Texas

So self evaluation, which country I am from? Research a little, do I have a strong case?
Attorney gonna tell you it doesn’t matter because attorney want client anyway, why would say California grass is greener than Texas.
