Just a short, straightforward question (and some optional background reading):
In order for an H1B-application to be approved, is a photocopy of the EAD required?
Background:
I had planned to stay under the "optional practical training"-rules and therefore, just in case, applied for an EAD. I got approved, received it two weeks ago ... and lost the card. My future employer, however, is now applying for an H1B-visa for me anyway, so the question is: how desparate should I be? They asked for a copy of the EAD but do they really need it?
Thanks,
P.
