Hello there , i`ve found out by my lawyer that i`m qualify to adjust status under a provision or other suplement of the 245 laws of adjustement of status wich is the 245(i) or i-485 suplement A . Does anybody in this forum applied under this already ? is it something that is going to accelerate the waiting process for the i-485 ? . Because my wife is not a us citzen and i overstayed my visa admission as a nonimmigrant visitor back in 2000 , my lawyer told me that this provision would be best for me since my petition i-130 had been filed befor april 30th 2001 . I`m a little bit confuse about that story and i really need an expert advise quickly before i send these papers . I just want to find out what are the adventages and bad sides of this law .
