Does anyone have experience of getting Advance Parole by hand

If anyone has experience of getting Advance Parole by hand from the Local Office, please post your experience here.

INS has approved my AP and never mailed it. So, I need to re-apply. I am wondering if I can walk into the local INS office in LA and get them by hand.

All replies will be appreciated.

This is not uncommon. It seems that INS mail room is being run by "legaly insane" people . They do not seem to realise quality and nature of their actions.

Anyway, you can try going to local office, show them receipt, tell them you never got it. They will probably issue an AP if you can show that you have a real emergency and you will have to travel immediately.
