has any one gotten approved recently
Folks I have a question. Over the last four or five months, the visa bulletin has averaged about 5-6 months of progress every bulletin (at least in the EB1 category- and I suspect other categories also).
has anybody on the forum who was retrogressed earlier and then became current during the course of last couple of months, been approved.

There are lots of people who don't visit these forums
especially from Eb2NIW/Eb1 cases
i my office area lots have applied and never heard to this site
to answer ur question couple of my colleauges have got some sort of response such as RFE/LUDs/new finger print/approval after getting current in recent months....

I am in eb2 and my case has been stuck in namecheck. Does n't matter whether or not my case is current

Since you are current now, could you please let the rest of us TX EB1 applicants know how your case progresses and what steps are you taking to speed up the process.

I am also EB-1 (OR&P) and my I-140 was approved last year in MAy. I called TSC many times and there standard answer is you and your wife are stuck in name check. I want to ask whether these people just wait for the priority dates to become current before answering anything about our name check status. Do they have all information with them and are they just waiting the dates to become current? Please anyone could clarify this.

If you are stuck in name check ( like me) it does not matter if your case is current. My case( Eb2/oct2001) has been current ( on/off) and got always a standard reply that waiting for suckurity clearance

thanks for all the information in response to my post. Even though I am current under this bulletin, I havent received a card or seen any movement online. in fact we changed our address (though the oft cited and valuable procedure of POJ and others and no LUD after that also). I will keep you posted.
