does any body call Vermont serivce center lately?

Its has been more than 8 months I havenot received anything from INS about I 140. I am planning to travel using AP? Is it a good idea?

I am curious if any body call INS for pending I 140. How long they will take to make a decesion for June case? Any idea????

Dear Friends:
Is there any one filed EB-1( Extraordinary ability) in the month of March'2002 not received any information about the case?
I filed EB-1 on march 14th(RD), but still now now news. My lawyer is telling me since 2 month back that my file now in INS officer hand. If my lawyer will do enquiry then it will take 2 more month, so lawyer is not willing to contact INS due to above reason.
Hope some one can suggest me what to do now, as VSC is working on EB-1 cases March 25 RD.
