Does address change lead to approval

Guys,
After changing my address, the LUD changed. Does this mean that i might get approved soon?

Khusboo
NO .. I dont think so. If that was the case all of us would be changing out apartments right now .. people who have houses will start living on rent and rent their places .. :-)

Thanks guys,

AL_AOS what do you mean by transferring????

like my ND is may 2003 and i did FP in march 2004 and lud changed...is there any chance

I am not sure about I-485, but I am pretty confident my move was responsible for my I-140, EAD and AP approvals.

I had moved on April 18th, Address was updated on April 23rd and approved on April 28th (I-140, EAD and AP). This was after I had been waiting for over 6 months after submitting response to an RFE on the I-140, and I feel this was not just a coincidence.

Hey nothing to be alarmed about. :)
I was refering to my case.
I changed my address , actually updated my address, but the nitwit at the customer service or the IIO thought it was another change and two days later .poof case was transfered to local office for interview.
So zI think there is a corelation.
LUD change in your case is good . mean that they have recd the FP results and processing has resumed.

I do not think address change would trigger adjudication.
I am almost in the same boat as your (or may be a boat next to you :) ). I do not mean to diappoint you. But, I feel we still have some time to kill before thinking of approval. I wish your speculation were true. I am Apr 03 filer; did my FP1 in Mar 04 and moved about 1.5 months ago. My LUD changed when I moved and recieved address confirmation from CIS. Thats it.

Good luck.

Sorry! I did not mean to depress you. Just hang in there ... Our days are just around the corner. :)

Noooooooooooooooo

Nooooooooooooo, if thats the case i will change my address now...

BTW i change my address called USCIS and my LUD changed to too. after that i got a letter from USCIS saying my address is change with the same date on LUD.

My LUD Changed and i checked at the local CIS office - hoping it was something [this LUD was following a decision on a previous RFE which they decided on..] but unfortunately it was just an address-change [took them 3 months to update since i sent my AR-11]
