Does AC-21 delay I-485 approval ?

Hello,

My I-140 has been approved and my RD for I-485 is June 7, 2003.

I am considering changing my job by making use of the AC-21 portability rule. The new job is in the same area as I work in, both geographically and work-wise. So I don't forsee a problem in that regard.

My question is, does making use of AC-21 delay the approval of I-485 ?

I dont think that AC-21 will delay 485 processing in anyway.
But million $ question is when to file AC-21 ie immediately after switching jobs or when u get an RFE. I guess this is an individuals decision as there
is no clear law on this.
