Good morning all...
I have a pending I-485 for the last 3.5 years and since I filed my first file in 2003 got ONLY TWO full one-year EAD, basically the initial EAD and one after it in 2004.
At the end of 2005, on 10/10/2005 I filed for a renewal for my 3rd EAD and I never got it till now. I went to the local USCIS office in Northern VA and after about 10+ INFOPASS appointments, I finally got 2 INTERIM EAD's and they told me the 3rd 1-year EAD won't arrive because they have supplied me with 2 interims during 2006.
My question is: since my I-485 case in pending because of name check, do you think I will be able to get my new EAD which I filed on 11/07/2006 - current expires on 02/07/2007 - for a full one year.
In case I don't get it, I have heard and read in this forum and others that all local USCIS offices are not longer issuing INTERIM EAD's... What should I do please.
It's really frustrating because I will lose my job and my drivers license will expire the same time the EAD expires.
Any thoughts, please help...
