My company was sold and bought in April, 2002. The name of the company changed .... it changed from being an Inc. to LLC.
The attorney filed a I-140 amendment for the name change in April, 2002. The amendment is still pending.
I filed my I-485 in April, 2001. I received a RFE for updated employment letter in June, 2002. My attorney sent the employment letter, paystubs along with the copy of the I-140 amendment petition receipt. It has been almost 4 months since INS received the RFE response but I am still waiting to hear from them.
Is it the pending I-140 amendment holding up my I-485 approval also? Has anyone faced such a situation??
