Does a baby needs re-entry

Hi my son is a green card holder and i want to bring him back at my country so that his father will look after him. Does he nees re-entry permit? While he stay there? Thanks need reply asap.

Depends on how long he will stay there. He needs a reentry permit to stay a year or more, and the permit expires in 2 years.

However, if at least one parent is a US citizen, he may be a citizen and can get a US passport and would be able to stay abroad indefinitely.
