Does 485 approval mean 140 approval ? (EB1-OR)

My 485 was approved in Mar/28.
I got the email from USCIS Case Status Service Center for 485.
But I cannot check 140 through USCIS Case Status Service Center
since I do not have 140 receipt.
My understanding is that 485 can be approved after 140 approval.
Is it correct ?
Is there any chance for 140 to be rejected after 485 approval ?

Thanks,

Congrats!

Relax and Savor the moment. If your 485 is approved, your 140 is approved too.

BTW, could you share some more details about your case, Center, qualifications etc.

Thanks.

140 approved too

Finally hear from lawyer for 140 approval Today (03/31).

What is the next step ?

Thanks,

Thanks,

Since both your I-140 and I-485 (this cannot be approved without prioir or simultaneous approval of the I-140) are approved you're set. While waiting for the I-485 receipt (your courtesy copy or the lawyer/employer copy) schedule an appointment via infopass at the relevant (to your zip code) USCIS district office. Carry 2 recent passport photos, I-485 approval notice, passport, other docs as recommended by the lawyer (I was asked to hand over photocopy of passport as well which is unusual) and get your I-551 stamp in your passport as well as fingerprinted. Your plastic card should arrive fairly quickly. I-485 approval date is the date you became a PR. Congratulations.

Is PP stamping mandatory ?

Thank a lot for your kind advise.
My and My wife's CO is 03/31. I think I will get Plastic Card pretty soon.
Is PP stamping mandatory ? If I can trip to abroad with plasitc card, PP stamping may not be required. Isn't it ?
