does 3FP mean close to approval?

hi All,

Have a general question. If we receive 3FP notice does that mean that we are close to the I-485 approval?. Just want to know you guys thoughts around that.

Recently my friend got 3FP notice RD 12/2001 and got approved in exactly a month after giving the 3FP...

I just don't want to discourage you on this one... but the issue is no one can predict BCIS on there process!

And it is a bitter truth!
