Hi,
What Documents to carry while the GC holder is going out of country(US) for the first time? Are there any other things to keep in mind while travel expecially on GC?

mmm...I think all you need is a valid national passport/travel document. I'd take the driver license/social security# just in case too.
 
Yes, whatever you do, DON'T carry your Social Security Card with you. Put it in a safe place. If someone gets a hold of it and uses it -- you're in big trouble.

It may take years to repair i.d. theft issues.
 
Alrighty then. I guess carrying my SS# was a bad idea.
I'd also recommend you take Pepto Bismol and Tylenol PM with you as well. :D
