Documents required to get emergency AP

Hi,

Has anyone gone thru the process of getting an emergency AP? Can you please tell me what are the documents required for it? Is there any link where I can get more information on that?

Also, how long the emergency AP will valid for? 1 year or couple of months?

Emergency advanced parole will be valid for one year.

Document:
1. For marriage- Marriage Invitation.
2. For medical emergency - Letter from relative, doctor,............
3. Also confirmed air ticket, if your ticket is not confirmed just block the air ticket and print the schedule and you can tell BCIS officer that you opted for e-ticket so you don't have paper ticket.
 
Do we need to get this temporary Advanced Parole from a local INS office? I am in Raleigh, NC and the local INS office is in Charlotte,NC.

I will be travelling on business next month. Will this be considered an emergency? I have my tickets/hotel reservations done. I can get a letter from management if needed
