Documents reqd for interview

I know this subject has been discussed several time in other threads. I am just looking for a common set of documents that most people would need. I realise every case is different and may need some more documents than others. Here are the one I can think of that most common Please add to this list

- Passport
- GC
- Copies of tax papers. I understand form 1722 is better
- court papers (for any records one may have)
- Selective service papers (if it applies)
- previous immigration papers (F1, etc)


Am I missed that most people would carry?

You may want to bring proof of residence (i.e. that you live within the jurisdiction of the DO)

And what could be the proof about residence within the jurisdiction?

How about financial statements (bank, investments, etc) , library card, etc?
Any opinions from knowledgeable folks?

If the address on your DL is the same as the one on your N400 (or at least in the same DO), that'll help. If not, maybe rental contract, car registration or bank statement can also work.

Sorry I have no idea about the "lack of employment" situation. I'd imagine it will take some persuation to explain why one has not worked for such a long period.
