Documents needed for H1 transfer stampong in Chennai

Hi, Any one who recently did an h1 transfer stamping in chennai please help.
I found on the chennai consulate web site that they need original experience letters, pictures of your current workplace etc for an H1 visa. Is this true for even an H1 transfer ? I have all documents except for my Expeience letters which have been submitted for GC processing. Any help would be appreciated. I need to get a stamp before I come back since my current stamp has expired.

Do I need to wait for consulate received notification?

My new employer filed for NEW H-1B with consulate notification and premium processing. So I\'m going back to home country for an H-1 visa interview as soon as I\'ll get the approval notice in a few days. But do I need to wait for the INS notification reach the consulate which my take weeks, or I can get the interview with my original I-797 copy? Thank you.
