documents needed for EAD renewal

Hi All,

Can someone provide a complete list of documents, needed for EAD renewal? I want to avoid any RFE for the second EAD because of missing document... 10x.

Thank you ghost. I will enclose I140 copy just in case. Do you think that I94 is needed? Because end date on mine is Dec 2002 (expired).
 
another question

I-765 contains 11 pages. Most of them are crap (discuss filing instructions) and only one has the actual form. Should one send the whole I-765 (11 pages) or only the page (page N 10) having fields that need to be filled? 10x.
 
its mentioned in the link on INS site. IT does't matter what the date on I94 is since your 485 AOS application receipt date will validate that you applied 485 before the expiry of your valid stay or if you have extension of H1 then there's new i 94 on that too.
So do't worry about it and attach it along with other docs.

Just mail the 765 form which needs to be filled and mail it to correct service center address. Only one page.

When to renew EAD?

Hi, guys:

My current EAD will be good until Aug, 03. But I heard that it could take up to 6 month for renew EAD. Is it true?

I don't want to be out of status. Please let me know how long it takes to renew the EAD if you know?

Currently I have no idea how long the I-485 will take. I feel very frustrated because I really want a trip back to home land.

For your trip back, you will need AP - not EAD. You have to apply for EAD renewal at least 90 days before the old one expires, because it gives you the right to get iEAD if 90 days have passed and you haven't received your new EAD. AP and EAD are separate documents and serve different purposes - re-entry in US and work authorization respectively. Hope this helps...

EAD expiration

Silly Man,

When does your EAD expire? Because mine expires on 04/01/03 and it seems that I'm in the 90 days window already:(
 
button, mine expires in may .. mind you, the 90 days are from the ND .. anyone knows the difference between ND and MD these days? button, ru working on EAD?

My H1 expired Dec 02 and I did not renew it. That's why I suppose that now EAD is my valid employment authorization document. I plan to extend my EAD until I get my GC one day (hopefully).
 
You should have extended your H1 just in Case. My H1 expiring in march but i am thinking of extending though have vaild EAD til laugust 03.

Here's something if smeone knows i will file my extension with prest I94 and i am thinking it will come in 3 months. But i will go out of country and come back on AP and then i will get a new I94. But after that my H1 comes with old I94 number . What do i do then. Anyone in this situation ?
