What documents are required to apply for PCC at Huston consulate?

I emailed consulate last week but never got any reply.

Is it safe to send orignal pasport to them?

It is safe to send the original PP.

Look at their website, the form lists all the reqd. docs.

If your PP was not issued by a Indian consulate in US, it might take upto 45 days. So you might just want to send a copy of PP and when (around 45 days later) they are ready to issue the PCC send the orig PP.
