I don't know which INS local Office you want to go, but it's better to take both original and photo copies of I-140 approval (if yours is employement based), I-485 reciept notice and 1-765 receipt notice. first submit the photo copies and if they ask for original then submit the original.
It's not harm to keep both original and copies. If you don't have what they ask you at that moment, you are gone. You have to redo whole thing all over the next day. This is what happened to me!!
