I'll be getting an Indian visa the first time after my US naturalization. I'm reading at the San Francisco Indian consulate website that the visa type for me would be Entry visa (X-type) - for Indian origin person and that it can be done in a day.
The docs listed at the website are just the US passport, old Indian passport and filled out renunciation form. And then some photos.
I just want to make sure that this is all the docs that are needed. I saw on some other visa sites and forums some vague requirements of parents' passports, etc. for the same type of visa.
Many people might have gone for this first time visa. Has anyone needed more docs or faced any other issues ?
