Hi all,
I am a DV2009 winner from Europe (casenumber EU23XXX)
I am currently collecting the documents for the Consular interview though have some questions which I hope you can help me with:
- I have like 4 middle names, on some official documents they are mentioned, others not and other only initials. Should this give problems on the interview as here in Europe middle names are not really important. I cannot go and ask for new documents for diplomas, police certificates...etc I suppose as long as first name and family name are correct, I should be ok. Can somebody confirm or has similar experience.
- As for Translations, it needs to be done by Certified translator BUT do the documents have to be legalized by the COURT ? I suppose not as the first letter only mentioned certified documents. What do they mean by certified ? I suppose that it just needs to be done by official translator, am I correct.
Do you also need to translate bank statements ? I suppose it is better to get as many documents in English language already, so we can save costs on translation.
- As for the European Embassies, does anybody know if they accept FRENCH documents, I mean is a translation necessary for eg PARIS Embassy. Maybe some people can tell about their interview in PARIS. Would be cool.
- Do you need to make the appointment with the doctor yourself or is it already confirmed in second letter which you may receive. Do you guys have any experience with list of French doctors, where best to go for medical.
I have lost my vaccination booklet, does this mean I need to get all the vaccinations again ? I hope not lol
Thanks for your help
