docs for Appointment

I just received my Appointment Notice today and have a few questions about the documents they are requesting.

1. Medical Examination Form I-693 in a sealed envelope.
I have already sent them those documents when I filled out my I-485 and supporting paperwork. Do they want them again?

2. Certified court dispositions.
I have never been arrested so do I just omit this?

3. Affidavit of support form (I-864 with tax returns for last 3 years, W2's, and current job letter).
My sponsor is my wife so do I still need these documents? I only have one W2 so far, and of course one tax return.

4. 2 Color ADIT-Style photographs.
Are these the same side angle photos I have been required to provide for my EAD?

One last thing... The Chicago office listed I-485 as of August, 2002 were being processed, yet I did not submit mine until April, 2003. Anyone have an idea why I have an appointment letter yet? It is because my wife sponsored me, rather than my company?

Your responses are appreciated.

if you have submitted these, you do not need one again. If you have a xerox copy of your vaccination supplement, take that to be on the safe side, else do not worry.

You will need to take a notarized new I864. You and your wife will need a letter as proof of employment, last three paystubs.

If you people have been staying togather for more than 6 months, you can show your 864 join and also take a copy (forget the form name, I864A I think, notarized as well.

If you have been filing taxes joint, request a tax transcript from the IRS which is free. Or take your last 3 years joint tax returns with your wife's 3 W2's and your one W2. If she does not have 3 W2's, she should have written a letter to IRS earlier, but, just do one and take a new one and explain to the officer.

No, the requirement has changed, now, they need front-face like a passport.

You should not go by what the online posting dates say, if you are called early, why are you worried????

Good luck.

Thanks for the great info. One more question about the I-864. Both my wife and I moved here not quite 2 years ago (She lived in Canada with me for 14 years of our lives together, and 7 years previous to us being married) and she did not begin working until this year. Therefore, I have only 1 W2, and she has none. Should I just bring my W2 and the last 3 pay stubs from both of our employers?

No, you will need a co-sponsor, when you filed your 864, did you use a joint sponsor or just yourself???? You will need a co-sponsor if your wife does not have any w2's.

I used myself with a letter from my company stating my income. That income more than trippled the 125% poverty rule, and my wife now has an income that also at least tripples the 125% mark too. We also have assets that amount to over that 125%. We just don't have tax returns in the U.S. and I don't have personal tax returns from Canada since I operated through a trust I had set up in Canada.
