doc's after I485 approval from employer.

I got my I485 approved 4months back and recieved my plastic.
Im Planning to leave my current employer.
Is there any documents that i need to get from my current employer ?????

hi vijji241..since you already got the GC card i guess u r free now...I would just keep the pay stubs, offer letter etc,. cant think of anything else u can ask the employer before leaving...maybe an expiernce letter!

I recommend you to request them (HR or company's legal dept) to send you photocopies of all your immigration documents (H-1B papers, green card papers - start to finish, all approval notices, etc).

Just tell them that you need a copy your entire folder for your personal records.
