I really need to know. I got approved my greencard on Septmeber 7th. About two weeks after I received greencard in mail with wrong info so I sent it back. So far I have not yet received a receipt number or anything. I called INS and was informed that it takes about 6 months to process that type of situation and that I cannot obtain any info about my case until about 6 months. Anyone else ever been in simialr situation please respond. I really want to know how long does it usually take to get back green card after sending it for corrections and was I to expect a recipt number.
