I have been on EAD since Aug \'99 with my company. Just in case my company decides to lay me off I am assuming that I can join another company in the same capacity as long as I inform the INS with the 3 details they are asking for. While reading the AC21 I saw somewhere that an H1B has to be applied with the new employer. Is it true for people on EAD also. Do I have to apply for a fresh H1 if I change jobs now after having been on an EAD for 2 years. Please let me know
