Hi Gurus

Is their any need to get a new SSN after getting green card or after you start working on EAD from H! or J1 visas.

No. SSN is issued once and it remains the same irrespective of your status. You can change it if you want under certain circumstances.

Once you get the GC, only thing that changes is that they will remove the words "VALID FOR WORK ONLY WITH INS AUTHORIZATION" .
