Do you look at Receipt Date or Notice Date for checking process times?

I've always checked for reciept date for checking processing times.
but I hear notice date is the one that counts.
which one to apply for checking 485 processing time?

Notice Date IMO

Well, in the USCIS computers Notice date is what shows up so that's what i think counts.
