Do you have to provide a US address in the interview?

What if someone said during the interview that they haven't yet chose a US address and will provide it later when they enter the USA. Would that cause problems or hurt one's chances of being successful?

It will lead to significant problems and probable disqualification.
P.O. boxes that are obviously not proper residential addresses with proper names and No. of streets are not appropriate for the interview.

Hey Eddy,

You need a US address before you enter the US so as to inform the KCC/USCIS of where to send your Green Card and Social Security Number.

If you do not have an address as yet, provide the address of a hotel or rented mail box number (I think the US Postal Service has this).

As long as the address has a street name, house name/number, and postal code then you're fine.
