Also our passports are about to expire. What should we do about stamping?
Is it safe to go without the attorney on the interview? She is out-of-state and will charge a lot to fly in.
Our case is EB3, AC21, 245i, no RFE, transferred to local office, interview in October.
Thanks.

I don't know if your case needs an attorney. If your gut tells you that there might be something in your case that might create problems, than spend the money for attorney.

As regards to passport expiry, that should not create any problems by itself. They will probably stamp your I-94 instead of your passport if you get approved.

that's right. If you think you are 100% or at least 98% certain about your case, i.e. if you have nothing to worrry about, employment is legit, you file tax return every year, no criminal records etc. then save you some money. Acutally attorney is useless in you case from what I see unless you try to hide something from CIS.

I had my interview without an attorney, everything went well. But also i had nothing to hide,my marriage is true.We been together with my husband 6 years now! After 15 minutes, she said she going to approve my case, and stamped my passport!(09/07/05),and yestarday i received my green card for 10 years.! So don't worry about it,everything will be just fine!Good luck!!!! :)
