Do we need to stamp passport everytime after H1 transfer?

Is it required to stamp the passport everytime we get H1 transfer?

Little apprehensive as my passport is not stamped after first H1 visa and I have not gone out of the country ever since I came here on my first H1 visa.

You need a valid visa stamp ONLY if you are planning on passing through the port of entry (coming into US). If you are planning on not going out of the country, as long as you have the I-94 card that came with the approval notice, stapled to your passport, you should be fine.
