Do we need to hire a new Attorney ?

Hi,
I have changed jobs before completing 180 days period after applying for 485. My old company assured me that they won't revoke my I140. I got EAD and AP later. My new company did my H1 transfer instead of using EAD to be on safe side.

Since all the GC processes were handled by old company's attorney and now that attorney is not accessible, Is it necessary to have another attorney hired to look after my GC process?

Thank you.

Try to hire your old lawyer yourself or send a letter to USCIS to revoke G28.

Contact Attorney, before sending any letter to USCIS your self. Changing company before 180 days of filing I 485 has its own risks.
Transferring H1 has nothing to do with GC process in any way.

Good luck

You don't really need to hire an attorney to look after you GC process at this stage. However, you do need to contact the old attorney to inform him/her that you don't need representation anymore and to arrange for any USCIS correspondence to be forwarded to you. You may want to consult another immigration lawyer on how to proceed in this situation. I would recommend www.lxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.info as you'd receive unlimited attorney consultations with their very affordable standard family plan that I have myself. Good luck!
