Do we need a transit visa for paris even if we don't get down the plane

I know this question would've been asked many many times, but i didn't find an appropriate answer in this forum. My wife is traveling with Advanced Parole on Air India on NY-PARIS-MUMBAI. As you know during the stop in paris, Air India passengers won't get out of the flight. Do we still need a Transit Visa...
