Do we need to have 797 form ( H1 copy) for all the years of stay in US when filing for 485?
I need this info because:
My h1 with Company A was expiring on Mar 01 2001. I applied H1 transfer to company B in Jan 2001, I got lin number at the end of jan 2001 but H1 approval was dated from Mar 30 2001 to Mar 30 2004. But company A also applied for extension and it was approved but they never gave the H1 copy to me. I moved to company B on Mar 30 2001. So will I be considered illegal for these 30 days?
