Do we have to bring EAD for finger printing?

One of my friends went for finger printing and ASC asked for his EAD. It seems they also need the FP on EAD. But I never gave them my EAD card, not sure if this will cause any problem?

It can't hurt to bring it, but it's not officially a requirement. When I did my first FP in May of last year I was not asked for it. I'm on my second EAD and both, for the fingerprints, say something like "not available". The FP really is for the 485; I'm not sure why that ASC was hasseling your friend.

ASC at Boston asks for EAD

We also had our FP done last week at Boston and they did ask for EAD and driving licesnse. Since we had also taken our EAD with us therfore there was not any problem. So if you guys are going for FP at Boston then make sure you have your EAD card with you. That's my 2 cents!

Is it possible that they need to make sure the FP results for I485 match the FP on EAD?

Yes..they only ask for your EAD and FP original Notice..they really dont care anything else...

Today i got my FP done from San Jose ASC and they just asked for Recipt of FP and identification and nothing more.

Ours are scheduled on 7/7.
