I did an address change using AR11 and also called the NSC to update the address for the pending 485 applications for me and my wife. My wife has a pending EAD as well. During the process IIO took my email address. I am not sure why that was needed.

1. Do they send any email confirmations about the address change?? If yes what are the time lines.

2. Also the AR11 form has A# on it and does not say anything about which pending application this address change is for. I assume that address change is done for all the Applications under a specific A#.

Any one in this situation Pls respond.

Thanks

You will not get any confirmation. Given the wok culture of BCIS, do you think they will do that? Just to open AR11 they will take six months. You need to keep a proof that you sent AR11 for change of address. It should be sent for each family member separately.

AR11 is not related to any application. It should be sent whether you have pending application or not.

For the pending applications Like I-485 you need call BCIS number 1-800-375-LATE and inform about you change of address.

Tell them all pending applications and the receipt numbers.
