Do they make you sign 6 month employment contract at the consulate after the CP Interview

Hi All

I have heard that the consulate makes you sign a document requiring u to stick to the current employer for 6 months after the interview is successful. Is this true?

they made one person sign

one of my friends brother-in-law had been to Chennai last year (2001) for his CP interview and he was made to sign a document which mentioned that he had to work for his current employer for 6 months.
 
u may be right....

U may be right...i\'ll have to confirm again with my friend to ask his brother-in-law whether it was the consular office or his employer who made him sign such a thing. I have a feeling it his emplyoer. But I\'ll have to ask my friend again to confirm it for us.
