Do they contact your former employer(s)?

After or before interview for N400 and before oath at any time, does the USCIS contact your fomer employers to see if there is anything fraud in N400?

After my GC I worked for more than one year (18 months to be precise) for the GC sponsoring employer and then moved to another job. In the second job I was there for about 25 months and then moved again - this time out of state. Never was I involved in fraud or anything. In fact I continued to work for the GC sponsoring employer on contract basis after leaving them on good terms.

Do these guys contact the former employers? I think not but would like to know your opinions too. Thanks a lot.

BTW I left messages on the answering machine thinking that they would call me back regarding the missing oath letter. How naive am I ! I plan to go to the Milwaukee USCIS office on Monday and see if I can talk to some one there. What would be the procedure if I go to any USCIS offices in person for inquiry? TIA

Doubt It

I very much doubt it, since most companies (most fortune 5) have a policy to only acknowledge that you were employed and your employment dates and nothing more.
